This project rises from a job developed on 2001 in Badía del Vallès (Catalonia), Charleroi (Belgium), Rome, Crispiano, Bari, Agliana, Prato, Siena i Gossetto (Italy) Kilkis i Thessaloniki (Gree), Cardiff i Penywaun (Wales).
In these cities, several organizations (city halls, associations, single workers, social theatre groups, primary and high schools, street educators, parent associations, neighborhood, instructors,…) have been testing about how to prevent the violence; concretely, violence between peers (bullying) in children.
From these experiences, was born a methodology (basically, about emotions) which is an effective manner in order to prevent the violence. It is used fundamentally, the expression (theatre, street games, sports, fine arts,…) and the interest of the community.
The Tolerance Spinning web picks up this methodology; it gives a theoretical base, and a complement with a vast and complete catalogue with activities, projects, programs, links and references.
With this web, every educator will have a vast and rigorous base if it is interested in developing effective tools of job in order to prevent the violence in children, teenagers and young people. It is an interactive resource with the aim of growing up and modify from the contributions of the own net users and the organizations who support it.
